Wordless Wednesday... Almost

Almost for two reasons--first, I didn't make it before midnight, so it is actually Thursday and second because I have to explain why I put goggles/sunglasses (also known as Doggles) on my dog.  Molly loves to hang her head out the window when we are on the road, but it's not good for the eyes (people and dogs, its why you have to wear glasses or protective gear when riding a motorcycle, moped or scooter).  I bought these on a whim and I am not one that usually dresses my dog unless it is for a good reason--its cold or a life jacket is needed so I can grab her when she's swimming or its really muddy and easier to put boots on her then give her a bath (you've seen the muddy bath pictures).  So, she doesn't really like these.  I've tried working with her and giving her treats when she leaves them alone, but she hasn't taken to them like her boots or jackets.  So the ironic thing is that when she has the Doggles on she doesn't stick her head out the window, but as soon as I take them off her heads out the window.

The last photo was shot completely as is.  Molly chose to sleep on top of my pile of books on the futon.  I think she was trying to tell me I should be reading the fun books about hiking and backpacking with her rather then the homework I was doing and should be doing even at this very moment.

That's not the first time she's done, but it is one best ones I have caught on camera. She makes me smile!
