Breakfast in India

The Fortune Select Trinity hotel that I am staying at offers a free buffet breakfast every morning.  I guess I'm not completely sure if this is a 'normal' breakfast here, but the image shows something that I typically eat here every morning.

Around my plate you will notice fresh fruits and breads with a small portion of lentils and porridge/oatmeal.  Watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, papaya, and small bananas for fruit.  A chocolate and nut muffin is accompanied by a plain donut with light sugar coating and a crescent roll stated to be made without sugar to round out the breads.  Usually there is one item like pancakes, French toast, or waffles with maple syrup (today was pancakes).  The odd item is a baked smiley shaped potato.  There are potato wedges that area pretty good that are offered as a potato item as well.  This is all accompanied by a cup of black coffee (my choice) or black tea.  We can also purchase bottled water for breakfast.

There are several additional Indian choices for breakfast and a chef that makes omelates.  There are a couple of cereals and juice choices, but I haven't ventured to try them yet.  I have sampled many of the Indian items, but I am finding that my typical breakfast is as shown.

My teammates here make a few different choices than I do, but we are all surviving in this nice hotel with this wide selection of food for breakfast.  Like many other things here, the price is right.  So, who can really complain.

And you were worried. It looks like what you would normally eat if you had a buffet breakfast every morning!
